The Light x Colour CPD collaboration with Lymesmith and colour specialist Sonia van de Haar explored the powerful relationship between light, colour and human perception. Bringing together expertise across lighting and colour theory, the session examined how these two disciplines work together to influence atmosphere, mood and spatial experience.

Wildly Illuminating contributed insights into the way lighting temperature, intensity and layering affect the way colours are perceived within architectural environments. Together with Sonia’s expertise in colour psychology and material palettes, the presentation offered designers a deeper understanding of how to create cohesive and emotionally resonant spaces.

The collaboration encouraged thoughtful dialogue around the importance of designing holistically- considering light and colour not as separate elements, but as interconnected components that shape how people feel within a space.
