why we’re the experts in lighting design
Nulifar @ Salone del Mobile, Milan 2025
At Wildly Illuminating, expertise isn’t claimed - it’s earned through continual exploration, collaboration, and a deep respect for light as both science and art.
Belle Magazine’s Milan Design Week Edition and Habitus/ Indesign panel at Salone del Mobile 2025
Our knowledge is built on lived experience. From contributing to Belle magazine’s Milan Design Fair coverage to joining the Habitus/Indesign panel at Salone del Mobile, we’ve had the privilege of engaging with the world’s leading designers, manufacturers, and thinkers. These experiences keep us connected to the evolving global conversation on design innovation.
XAL Headquarters, Austria 2025
Beyond the exhibitions, we go behind the scenes - touring international lighting factories, speaking directly with makers, and understanding how design, materiality, and technology converge to create exceptional light. These insights inform every decision we make, ensuring the products we specify and the solutions we design are at the forefront of both performance and beauty.
Georgina Wilson Collaboration / XAL Headquarters, Austria 2025
Collaboration is central to our process. Our recent partnership with Georgina Wilson Architect exemplifies the seamless integration of architecture and lighting - a balance of function, atmosphere, and aesthetic integrity. It’s this level of synergy that defines how we work with all our design partners.
Education is another cornerstone of our practice. Each year, we host CPD events for more than 150 architects and designers, sharing insights drawn from real-world challenges on site and in design. We visit showrooms nationally, attend global conferences, and bring back knowledge that empowers our peers to make lighting an integral - not incidental - part of design.
WI CPD Presentation 2025
At Wildly Illuminating, our commitment is simple: to elevate lighting as an essential design discipline. We don’t just light spaces - we illuminate understanding. Because true expertise lies not in keeping knowledge, but in sharing it.
